April 24, 2021 @ Round Hills Pine Beach Resort
Our goal is to engage and educate the community about Special Olympics athletes and how they foster inclusion by participating in the Plunge.
We encourage everyone to bring at least one family member, co-worker, or friend to register and Plunge with you. Better yet, be a Team Captain and invite everyone you know to be a part of this crazy event. The funds you raise will ensure that Special Olympics athletes have their vital sports and health programs during these challenging times.
There are a few ways to registers; you can register as a Plunger and feel the thrill and make a splash, register as a Towel Holder, and participate while staying dry and cheer on your teammates from the sidelines or register as a Virtual Plunger and "Plunge" your own way right from the comfort of your home. You'll make your choice when you register.
All participants are asked to raise a minimum of $125 and, in return, will receive a really cool Plunge t-shirt. You can earn more incentives so they more you raise, the more you can earn.
Check out the Cool Swag
All participants who raise a minimum of $1,000.00 or more will have access to the VIP experience on Plunge day. This will include a hot buffet breakfast and bar access in an area located on the beach for socializing and enjoying the plunge.
Take advantage of our discounted room block and book your Friday night housing at Harvey's. Click here to reserve your room. Rooms must be booked by April 9, 2021
Costumes are encouraged, dress to impress! The theme is the 70's!
After the Plunge please stay right on site at Round Hill Beach Resort for the Post Plunge party and have lunch where we will celebrate the funds raised for our amazing athletes! All Plungers who raise the minimum of $125 are welcome.
All participants under the age of 18 must bring a hard copy of the waiver signed by a legal guardian. Click here to print out the waiver.
IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE EMAIL PLUNGE@SONC.ORG.
We look forward to everyone enjoying the 2021 Plunge in the safest environment possible. As we continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation through the Winter and early Spring, Special Olympics Northern California & Nevada reserves the right to transition the Plunge at Round Hills Pine Beach & Marina into a completely virtual event should conditions not allow for in-person gatherings. All registration fees, and donations, from the in-person event (scheduled for April 24, 2021) will be moved to the virtual event. All transactions are non-refundable.
