April 23, 2022 @ Round Hill Pines Beach Resort
Event Check-In Begins at 9 a.m.
(See complete schedule below)
Our goal is to engage and educate the community about Special Olympics athletes and how they foster inclusion by participating in the Plunge.
We encourage everyone to bring at least one family member, co-worker, or friend to register and Plunge with you. Better yet, be a Team Captain and invite everyone you know to be a part of this crazy event. The funds you raise will ensure that Special Olympics athletes have their vital sports and health programs during these challenging times.
There are a few ways to register: you can register as a Plunger and make a splash or register as a Chicken and participate while staying dry and cheer on your teammates from the sidelines. You'll make your choice when you register.
9 a.m. - Registration Opens
10 a.m. – 12 noon – Pre-Plunge games and activities
11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – Parade lineup and costume judging
12:30 p.m. – PLUNGE!
Lunch & Plunge Awards festivities immediately following the Plunge
Guests can purchase guest lunch tickets for $35. Lunch consists of acon wrapped pork tenderloin, chicken, potato salad, caesar salad, BBQ beans and dinner rolls
All participants who raise a minimum of $1,000 or more will have access to the VIP experience at the Plunge event. This will include a hot buffet breakfast and bar access in an area located on the beach for socializing and enjoying the Plunge.
All participants must raise a minimum of $125 and, in return, will receive a really cool Plunge T-shirt. You can earn more incentives so the more you raise, the more you can earn.
Participants under the age of 18 must bring a hard copy of the waiver signed by a legal guardian. Click here to print out the waiver.
After the Plunge, stay right on site at Round Hill Beach Resort for the Post Plunge lunch and festivities where we will celebrate the funds raised for our amazing athletes! All Plungers who raise the minimum of $125 are welcome.

We look forward to everyone enjoying the 2022 Plunge in the safest environment possible. As we continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation through the Winter and early Spring, Special Olympics Nevada reserves the right to transition the Plunge at Round Hills Pine Beach & Marina into a completely virtual event should conditions not allow for in-person gatherings. All registration fees, and donations, from the in-person event (scheduled for April 23, 2022) will be moved to the virtual event. All transactions are non-refundable.
