|RSVP for Summer Games - ONE REGISTRATION PER PERSON||Available||$0.00|
The Special Olympics Summer Games is the culminating competition of our spring sports season and is one of the largest events hosted by Special Olympics Northern California. Taking place on the campus of UC Davis, hundreds of Special Olympics athletes look forward to the chance to showcase their competitive skills in Bocce, Tennis, Track & Field, or Swimming. And every year hundreds of Law Enforcement personnel, come out to cheer them on.
As part of our Law Enforcement community, we invite you to come to Summer Games and be a hero. If you have never attended before, it is an event that you will not want to miss. For two days you will feel a tug at your heart as a Special Olympics athlete proudly stands before you as you place a medal around their neck. You will witness first-hand the pride of families, who, for two days, can forget about the challenges their athlete faces on a day-to-day basis and instead, can relish in the victories of their athlete.
Whether you can spend a couple of hours or the entire weekend, it will be time that you will never forget.
Wall of Honor - Friday, June 23 7:00 pm (staging begins at 6:30 pm)
ALL Law Enforcement personnel are invited to line up in uniform (or agency attire) to form a Wall of Honor as hundreds of Special Olympics athletes march into Opening Ceremony during the Parade of Athletes. Be ready for tons of high fives, handshakes and hugs!
Awards Presenters - Saturday, June 24 and Sunday 25 (several shifts to choose from)
We need Law Enforcement Personnel in uniform (or agency attire) to present First through Third place medals or Fourth through Eighth place ribbons to the Special Olympics Athletes. This is by far, one of the most rewarding volunteer assignments of the weekend.
Law Enforcement Torch Run VIP BBQ - Friday, June 23, 4:30 - 6:00 pm
Before you take part in the Wall of Honor, join us as our guest for dinner at the Basketball Pavilion and meet fellow law enforcement personnel from all over Northern California who will be joining you.

After an exciting Opening Ceremony, relax and enjoy the comradery of your fellow Law Enforcement personnel at our LETR reception, hosted by our Law Enforcement Executive Committee. Appetizers and refreshments will be provided.
